Health and Safety
It is Zigma Ground Solutions policy to:
- provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;
- consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;
- provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
- ensure safe handling and use of substances;
- provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;
- ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training;
- prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health;
- maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and
- review and revise our policy as necessary at regular intervals.

Environmental Policy
Zigma Ground Solutions recognises the importance of environmental protection and is committed to a policy of effectively managing environmental performance in order to minimise the impact of our business on the natural environment and the community at large. This commitment extends to all our workplaces, employees and others affected by our activities.
Waste costs money – not only through the cost of disposal, but also through the value of wasted materials. Reducing waste and using materials more efficiently by recycling makes good economic as well as environmental sense. There are many key benefits of using recycled plastics:
- Plastic is a valuable and finite resource and environmentally the optimum use for most plastic after its first use is to be recycled – preferably into a product that can be recycled again.
- Most of our products are made from 100% recycled plastics and are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful life. We work with our key partners to ensure that our products are recycled at the end of their life span.
- By using recycled plastics we are helping to close the loop by diverting useful materials away from landfill.
- Recycling plastics into end applications that displace virgin plastics can save on average, two tonnes of CO2 for every tonne of plastic recycled.
- Using recycled plastics reduces the amount or oil used for plastic production and reduces energy consumed.
- Recycled plastic materials are completely inert and will not leach any chemicals into water or soil, even in wet environments.
- Using recycled materials also helps to support the recycling sector and the benefits that this brings to the economy.
