Lee Valley Campsite Sewardstone

Lee Valley Campsite Sewardstone

Summary

  • 1600sqm of GeoGrid filled with angular stone
  • Completed summer 2009
  • Walkways, carparks and roads

Problem

Lee Valley campsite at Sewardstone converted an area from touring caravans to static caravans so required improvements to access routes around the park.  Also other access areas had previously become worn, unsafe and unsuitable for disabled access.

Solution

The site’s access has been revamped using Zigma ground solution’s GeoGrid.

The Verdict

Changing from touring to static we need to create suitable routes for the guests.
It was important to make it wheelchair friendly and it has done that too.
It looks great!

Dorothy, Park Manager

Once the ground had been prepared, laying the GeoGrid was easy.
Two of us laid almost 700sqm in just under two days.
