Problem:
For the inaugural Abu Dhabi grand prix, access way was needed for a number of areas and events that were staged in the run up to the race day itself. A fan zone was built to allow race fans to watch from the beach area on giant screens as well as a stage area for a number of live music performances over the weekend. Access to both these areas was required.
Solution:
420 EuroMats were provided for the concert area in the form of a large square pad to give pedestrians a safe and solid area to watch from, also provided was several different trackways at the circuit and on the beach to allow artists, portacabins, staging trucks and many other vehicles access to and from circuit as well as connecting these areas.
