To provide access trackway for emergency and service vehicles at the event

Problem:

A trackway access road was required over the soft beach sand of the corniche for emergency and service vehicles to use during the weekend event. The access way had to be reliable and contour to the undulating sand terrain as well as allow vehicles to travel smoothly across the trackway.

Solution:

310 EuroMats were used to provide a three mat wide roadway. The mats were laid to ensure a wide enough access route for all vehicles that were to be used during the weekend. Standard two way connectors were used with the addition of the steel straps on top to give the trackway extra rigidity in the soft sandy conditions.
